The journal "Geomorphology and Paleogeography" (until 2023 - Geomorphology) is designed to promote the development of common theoretical, methodological and applied problems of geomorphology. It unites geomorphologists of Russia, and in recent years, a number of foreign countries, allows them to actively exchange information, get acquainted with new ideas and developments, and discuss current problems. The journal covers fundamental issues of geomorphology, general patterns of the structure and development of the relief of the Earth and other planets, studies of morphostructures and morphosculptures of land and the ocean floor. In addition, it discusses regional problems of neotectonics and structural geomorphology, morphometry and hypsometry, fluvial geomorphology and geomorphology of the coast and seabed, environmental, anthropogenic and engineering geomorphology, and holds discussions on current problems of our science.
